Hamarsbúð on a good day

Every year the houswifes at the Vatnsnes peninsula host a sheep-head feast at Hamarsbúð. The feast honors the old Icelandic tradition of eating sheep heads. The houswifes process the sheep-heads themselves, cook them and present at the feast. All proceeds go towards charity in the area.
