In the autumn of 2016 scientists and researches tagged young grey seals on the behalf of the Icelandic Seal Center. Now the GPS data has been turned into an interactive exhibition in a collaboration with Gagarín. Everyone is invited to come and try out the piece, and to get more information on the research. Light refreshments will be available for guests.
This project was funded with help from Sóknaráætlun Norðurlands vestra, The National Marine Aquarium and Húnaþing vestra.
The launch event will be on the 1st of December, at 5:00 PM, at the Icelandic Seal Center in Hvammstangi.
