Settir hafa verið saman fjölmargir ferðapakkar sem hægt er að velja úr þegar verið er að skipuleggja ferðina í Húnaþing vestra. Pakkarnir eru einnig góðar tillögur fyrir leiðsögumenn og ferðaskipuleggendur sem vilja koma með hópa í heimsókn.

Catch of the Day – Dinner
Enjoy a fishing trip on the bountiful Miðfjörður fjord. Upon return to the harbour your days catch is cooked fresh for you evening meal, complete with soup starter, fresh home baked breads, dessert and a bottle of wine.

The Icelandic horse is famed throughout the world for its ability to travel great distances over rough terrain whilst keeping the rider comfortable with its smooth motion. This horse show will display all the skills the wonderful Icelandic horse has to offer whilst guests will be served lunch/ dinner from a menu prepared from local meat and produce.

The Icelandic horse is famed for its ability to travel great distances over rough terrain whilst keeping the rider comfortable with its smooth motion. These shows will all the skills this wonderful horse has to offer This horse show will display all the skills the wonderful Icelandic horse has to offer whilst guests will be served dinner from a menu prepared from local meat and produce. After dinner guests will then meet and greet (befriend) the Icelandic horse in its stables before heading off on a riding tour of the picturesque Húnaþing-vestra region.

Home to one quarter (25%) of Iceland’s Harbour seal population and some of Europe’s largest seal colonies the Miðfjörður fjord is the ideal place to see these inquisitive creatures at close quarters.  A visit to the Icelandic Seal Center will guide you through the life and biology of these amazing marine mammals.

SHARK!!!
Hákarl - Rotten Shark meat. Everyone knows we eat it so come and find out why. We guide you around a restored Shark fishing boat from the 1800´s and explain how and why men risked life and limb to catch these beasts of the deep. You will then sample the famous Hákarl complete with shot of Brennivín as well as the valuable and medicinal shark liver oil.

Saddle up for Soup and Saga
The Icelandic horse has carried many heroes through this land, and non so great as Grettir the Strong, slayer of bears and berserkers. You will journey into his world on horseback then be regaled by his saga whilst feasting on traditional Icelandic meat soup.

Northern Lights two night Base Camp
Come to the home of Northern Light viewing! Based in the only area of the island where you can travel North, South, East and West to chase the lights wherever they may be, you will be treated to daytime tours to some of Iceland’s most coveted areas, while at the night you will be taken to areas where detailed forecasts and local knowledge tell us you will be most likely to experience the lights.

Laugarbakki Town Walk
Welcome to Iceland’s smallest town! Laugarbakki, with its 64 residents, is small in size though full to the brim with history and hot water. Treat yourself to a walk with a local visiting a natural hot water station, strawberry growing green house. Finish your tour at the local Viking market with coffee and cakes while checking out the local handcrafts and then relaxing in the naturally heated hot pool under the midnight sun.

Sheep to Sweater and Lunch (Kidka Tour)
The Icelandic sweater is famous around the world for its distinctive patterns as well as the amazing wool from which it is made - able to keep the wearer warm and dry through the harshest of conditions. On this tour we visit Iceland´s largest wool factory where products are designed and made not just for Iceland but also for export around the world. We then head on to a local handcraft gallery to view the hand-knitted products as well as other souvenirs made by local crafts folk.

On this tour we visit Iceland’s largest wool factory. After a delicious soup lunch we head off to a local handcraft gallery to see the hand-knitted delights of the locals as well as a variety of quality handcrafted products.

Midnight Sun Sailing and Dinner
Experience the magic of the midnight sun from the decks of a restored Icelandic oak fishing boat. Watch the sun as it kisses the horizon on the beautiful and nature-filled Húnafloí Bay.

Midnight Sun Horse Ride and Dinner
Take a ride around the beautiful surroundings of Húnaþing-vestra in the mystifying light of the midnight sun. This is the time of elves and bird song when the sun gently strokes the horizon.
